The creators of this unique Irish gift experience are the O'Leary sisters from County Monaghan, Ireland. You may also know them from internationally renowned music group, Sephira or the dancing violinists from the PBS Show, Celtic Thunder.
The Irish Gift Song Experience is a way to make you feel connected to Ireland taking you home through the power of original Irish music, the Irish rural soundscape and video story.
How did it all begin?
We were thinking of those who can’t be in Ireland right now and felt compelled to create something FOR YOU - something to make you feel more connected to Ireland. We composed an uplifting Irish melody with birds migrating to far off lands in mind - similar to the Irish people who emigrated to far off countries during the Great Famine. The running water in Irish Gift Song signifies the oceans between the families, the long journey they had to take and sacrifices that were made for freedom and a new life. The river sounds you will hear in Irish Gift Song were recorded from our local Irish river and the Irish bird song from our local forest.
